William & Mary has one of the highest graduation rates among all public universities, according to a report released this spring by Time Inc.’s Money Magazine. William & Mary is No. 2 on the magazine’s list of “The 25 Public Colleges Where Students Graduate the Fastest.” According to the report, just one-third of students in public colleges complete their bachelor’s degrees in four years. William & Mary has a four-year graduation rate by 83 percent, a rate topped only by the University of Virginia at 86 percent.
