Awards and Recognition

Caitlin Clements ’11 won a Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical as a producer for “Sunset Blvd.”

Emily Draper ’16 will screen her film “Sorority Court” at the Richmond International Film Festival on Sept. 25.

Milan Chakraborty ’00, a film producer and adjunct lecturer of film and media studies at W&M, was cited in the MovieMaker magazine article “The 30 Best Film Schools in the U.S. and Canada, 2025,” which includes William & Mary. His new film “Imported” began streaming on Hulu on Aug. 28.

Job Changes and Promotions 

Daniel Dixon ’17 has been named head coach of the Oklahoma City Blue, the NBA G-League affiliate for the NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder. Dixon joined the team as an assistant coach in 2022, helping them win a G-League title in 2024 before contributing to the Thunder’s NBA championship last season.

Lisa Kaenzig Ph.D. ’09 has been named the 11th head of school at Foxcroft School in Middleburg, Virginia. She previously served as the dean of leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

Carter Lovasz ’25 was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the eighth round of the 2025 MLB Draft. He is the 44th player from the W&M Athletics program to be selected.

Megan Arthur Schilling ’04 has become a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in its San Diego office. With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in executive compensation, employee benefits and corporate governance for clients ranging from large multinational companies to startups.

Xavier “Xavi” Soto Burgos ’20 made his Broadway debut in the hit musical “Mamma Mia!” He is part of the ensemble and is the understudy for the character Sky.

Kendal Vorous ’25 has joined the Peace Corps and is training as a youth development facilitator in Costa Rica. She will be working with youth in the Costa Rican education system, helping to equip them to be healthy, productive and active citizens.

Mary Worrill ’22 has joined Capitol Christian Music Group, a record label under Universal Music Group, as a project manager in the marketing department.
