Celebrating those who go above and beyond for alumni

The William & Mary Alumni Association Faculty and Staff Service Awards recognize individuals who deliver outstanding work in support of the Alumni Association and its programs. Embodying the university’s values, these awardees approach each day with thoughtfulness and innovation, tirelessly pursuing excellence. Their positive demeanor and unwavering dedication showcase the best of William & Mary.

JESSICA N. ANTON

As custodial support for the Alumni House, Jessica Anton looks after the building with the utmost care and attention. Starting her day at 5 a.m., she works tirelessly to ensure each corner of the building is well-maintained, organized and spotless. Beyond aesthetics, Anton ensures a hygienic and safe environment, looking after the well-being of visitors and staff. Despite the behind-the-scenes nature of her responsibilities, Anton approaches each task with a steadfast commitment to excellence, proud to steward the place W&M alumni call home. She plays an indispensable role in creating a beautiful, warm and welcoming environment for each guest who enters the Alumni House’s doors.

ANNE HUMPHRIES ARSENEAU ’89, M.A.ED. ’92

With a nearly 30-year tenure in student affairs at the university, Anne Humphries Arseneau ’89, M.A.Ed. ’92 has played a key role in shaping the student experience at W&M. Currently serving as the director of student leadership development, she helps undergraduates practice the necessary skills to collaborate with others and create positive change in their communities. A key liaison between the Alumni Association and the student body, Arseneau coordinates student engagement in community-wide events like Homecoming & Reunion Weekend. Supporting groups such as Students for University Advancement, Arseneau and her team work to foster a deep sense of belonging with current students, supporting them on the path to becoming engaged alumni. Beyond her professional role, Arseneau is a dedicated donor to alma mater, with 29 consecutive years of giving as a member of the Bell Society.

CASEY PRATS

As the moving and event services supervisor for facilities management at William & Mary, Casey Prats creates the conditions for success for countless campus events. Working behind the scenes, he leads a team of professionals who ensure W&M event spaces are ready to host the university’s most important gatherings. Among the first to arrive and last to leave, Prats orchestrates the setup and takedown of event spaces for Homecoming & Reunion Weekend, Traditions Weekend, Charter Day Weekend and many more. The meticulous planning and thoughtful execution from Prats and his team make these special moments of connection and reunion possible for the William & Mary community.
