In June, Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger announced the appointment of four new members to William & Mary’s Board of Visitors: Jeff Bourne ’99, J.D. ’07; Jennifer Davis P ’27, P ’30; Osman “Oz” Parvaiz ’99, P ’30 and Cynthia Hudson J.D. ’87. Their four-year terms began July 1, succeeding Kendrick Ashton ’98; Steve Huebner ’76, P ’09; Mike Petters M.B.A. ’93 and Laura Keehner Rigas ’01.

Bourne, the chief legal officer for the Branch Group and a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates, brings experience in law and public policy. Davis, a university professor and former senior U.S. diplomat, offers expertise in international affairs and higher education. Parvaiz has spent more than 25 years in leadership roles at Capital One and serves as the company’s chief procurement officer. Hudson, a former Board of Visitors member and Virginia chief deputy attorney general, is owner and managing attorney of Eppes-Hudson Law PLLC and a member of The McCammon Group.

“We warmly welcome our newly appointed members,” says President Katherine A. Rowe. “I look forward to working with each of them as we advance the mission of the university. William & Mary is also grateful to our departing members for their dedicated service. We appreciate their leadership and most especially the care they showed for the campus community.”
